Restoration information

There are several different kinds of restoration:

• Revegetation – replanting disturbed or unvegetated sites.
• Ecological restoration – reinstating the original (pre-disturbance) plant community, habitat, or ecosystem.
• Species recovery – specific actions to prevent a species from extinction, or restore a missing species.

We may be able to help with restoration projects through the Stephenson Fund. You should also contact your regional representative if you are looking at carrying out a restoration project.
